UN-Registering from Self Assessment

I made a mistake in registering for Self Assessment - I am trying to return to PAYE My tax situation is not straight forwards but not so complex that PAYE should not be able to handle it ...(despite major mistakes by HMRC last tax year (eg over 30 coding notices sent to me)) I am now having problems filling in the on-line…

my wife at one point was self employed for 3 years she had to fill in SA for 6 years after she went back to being employed and on paye
they decide when SA ends
