Do you know for sure how many weeks pregnant she is?

I ask as I thought it unusual to have a scan at around 25 weeks...?

As far as I am aware, most would have a dating scan and one at 18 weeks...

I can't help thinking they are having a laugh at your expense. You need to use the links to inform yourself so you will know when they are telling porkies!

If they aren't already, start taking keep off them.

Then give them 4 weeks notice and stick to it!

OH had her first scan at 12 weeks and 2nd at 22 weeks, although both of these were under a foreign system.

Regarding the 4 week period, the problem is that IMO it would be better to write a 4 week letter, send them down the council offfices with it and let them stay until they've found somewhere.

Also, get them to speak to taxi office, cafes, restaurants (I think you get the message) regarding work, as a condition of them staying with you. OH worked until 38 weeks on both occasions, and there's no medical evidence that I'm aware of (nor my mother, who is a doctor) that says she shouldn't work.

If you were in my area and I was in the UK, they could both start work within 24 hours on taxi control, so it can be done! (We're not looking, but I know that the other 2 companies in the town are)

I have 2 girls myself (although much much younger), and would be angry if mine decided to have kids as young as we did (it was a severe strugggle, but we got there). I understand your frustration!

In all my pregnancies I have had a dating scan at approx 12 weeks and an abnormality scan at 20 weeks (which some people mistakenly believe is a gender scan!) The only time I had a scan at 24 weeks was because the abnormality scan showed some issues which needed to be checked out when the foetus was slightly bigger.
If they go to the council they will not actually be rehoused until they are homeless. You can write a letter to say you are kicking them out if you wish but until it actually happens then the Council will not do anything.
As CK said your daughter is quite able to work. She won't actually be classed as incapable for work until 29 weeks pregnant. I worked up to the day of birth with 2 of my children and I never felt it was too much for me.
I think it is more likely that at 25 weeks they can claim the Surestart grant of £500 for baby. It is also the latest date you have to inform an employer of your pregnancy, prior to that you can keep quiet until you are in the job.

Maybe it's different in other areas. My daughter had a 7 week and 16 week scan, not sure when the next one is due. As far as OP's problem goes just tell your daughter she is welcome to stay but boyfriend unless he instantly changes his ways has to move out.
    It's someone else's fault.
