Selling Used Books

Hi,
I have a lot of books, both fiction and non-fiction, that I'd like to sell online. I have two options; either on eBay or Amazon. Can someone please suggest which site would be the best choice?
Thanks!

We definitely need a sticky somewhere as this is a very common question:

in all cases though check out what is actually selling. On Amazon you can do that by the ranking, on ebay you can check completed listingsI’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. At the moment I'm finding Amazon OK, even steady, for selling books; I get a few sales a week (even during the Olympics). eBay is flatlining for me - I'm going to try going 99p+stamp price but to list as BINs costs a lot so I'm not doing so well as I used to.
I choose what I list by price. As a private seller using ordinary postal services you will need £1 over the postal credit to break even on second class postage, so realistically, input what you have, look at what the lowest price is.
For me the trade-in sites are not taking anything at all."Well, it's election year, Bill, we'd rather people didn't exercise common sense..." - Jed Bartlet, The West Wing, season 4
