Not sure if this is right place but I'm sure someone will put me right!
Just got my renewal through for my Norton 360 subscription - £64.99.
I found here : http://buy-static.norton.com/norton/ps/3up_uk_en_navnis360_br_nf_360.html?om_sem_cid=hho_sem_ic:gb:ggl:en:b|kw0000291316|13827324388&country=GB
it being priced at £29.99.
Phoned Norton, got put through to " Gerrard" ( in India) who, after accessing my machine to look at the page I was looking at, gave me my renewal at the cheaper price.
So its worth researching and badgering - I've saved £35 on their quoted price.
Hope this of help to people.

Many thanks to our wonderful posters and apologies to the mods for all the postings I've made which then turned out that I've been pipped at the post.

Why pay anything at all? Plenty of free anti virus/malware/firewalls out there.
Also Norton is notorious for being a resource hog - I had a huge increase in speed on my laptop when I uninstalled the "free" trial version of Norton and replaced with Avast, Spybot S & D, Malwarebytes Anti-malware etc0 -
Hi, at the moment you can Norton 360 cheaper than Norton Internet Security.
Google Norton 360 and find the 50% off offer then enter code NORTON60VK to get a further 60% off making £12 in total.
Hi, for future reference, a couple of times a year there are some norton codes around that sometimes mean you can buy norton for as little as £9.99. You may not need it at that time but at the price it's worth purchasing and using it when needed.
Just make sure you enter your correct email and a password and you can then go into your norton account ,download it and enter the key. It even shows how many downloads you have left out of the three purchased.
As an example, last year I purchased it for £9.99 in October and have just activated it a couple of months ago meanwhile I have since purchased it again at £12 which will be activated sometime next year.
I have just tried NORTON60VK and it still knocks the price down to £12.
One thing to point out....once purchased go into the norton account and cancel the automatic renewal !!0 -

Oops! OP could be a little annoyed.0 -
Well... yes ....but he could purchase it again now at £12 to use next year !!
I don't quite understand why he wanted to buy it as a renewal ? He could have got it online for £29.99 anyway without having to ring India and then just entered the new product key !!0 -
It's always much cheaper top buy the new retail version from Amazon etc than to accept their renewal price-which is why I detest Norton's pernicious auto-renewal system. No free lunch, and no free laptop

Dude move on....it's not 2005 anymore. Norton is one of the least bloated av programs these days. I'm now using it instead of nod32...and this from someone who used to hate norton with passion. Give norton a try you might be pleasantly surprised on how much its changedbrewerdave wrote: »Also Norton is notorious for being a resource hog

I agree that it has improved greatly during the last couple of years, well worth a try at the price. Why pay anything at all? Plenty of free anti virus/malware/firewalls out there.

I think the point is that if someone wants to buy a particular product at the cheapest possible price you try to help them, not tell them not to bother because that's what you prefer to do.0 -
as OP Im not even slightly annoyed! Delighted that people have got an even better dealand shared it.Last win 2013!! Oh well.
