BT Broadband: Beware

If you are thinking of moving your broadband contract to BT be aware that they charge for their broadband service "per calendar month". So if your contract starts in the middle of the month, or even towards the end, you will be charged for a full month, even if you are only using the service for a week or two. Likewise, at the end of the contract you will again be charged for a whole month even if you are only using the BT service for part of the month. Therefore, for a 12 month contract you will be charged 13 months.
