            You could try joining a postal survey - we did when we suspected our postie started taking post ...well let's just say "on detours to places where it didn't belong" some days

            My mother uses a 'baby gate' to prevent her dogs access to certain parts of her house. Might that not work for you OP?
 Those gates can be bought cheaply secondhand, sometimes for nothing on Freecycle. Though do check all the 'fittings' are included.0

 After a bank card went missing I actually instructed my bank that I would collect its replacement. They were happy enough to do that. Amazon use whoever they feel like to deliver, not just RM, and an eBay seller can be instructed to deliver to an alternative address.0
