Monnagran, I am here, I read every day, just don't post as often as I should I suppose, probably because there has not been so much OS going on in this house. I have been in hospital recently and had my gall bladder removed, a simple keyhole op I was told, but me, being me, all was not as straightforward as it should have been and there were some complications
but I am finally on the mend and back to work. Proper meals went out the window during that time and there were a lot of take aways, not for me but for OH, despite there being some home cooked meals in the freezer... Oh, well, means I am prepared for OS ways going forward. Also my Nana died last week so that was hard to deal with, she was almost 98 years young and although it was expected, it was unexpected when it happened iyswim. The family now have alot of issues to deal with as I have an aunt who lived with my Nana all her life, she is mentally challenged, with a mental capacity of a 10 yr old, although she is in her early 70's and now needs care so that now needs to be sorted out, difficult times ahead for my Dad I expect, but I will be there to help as much as I can. OS today I have used up tuna, chopped peppers, onion and left over spuds and made fishcakes for tea and I am taking the leftovers to work tomorrow for lunch. Off now to start making some cards, a bit of distraction and hopefully good enough to use at Christmas and birthdays. Will try and post more frequently.

Evening all
((((Cait))))Has there been an earthquake or meteor strike? Did the world end at lunchtime and nobody thought to tell me? WHERE HAVE YOU ALL GONE?
:rotfl::rotfl: I was wondering where everyone had gone this afternoon too?
I didn't get to the outdoor Shakespeare in the end. We decided at lunchtime not to go as it was pouring down and blowing a gale, and then by 3pm the sun had come out . But after checking the weather it still didn't look good, and I'm glad we didn't go as a FB friend is there and has posted that it's been paused twice due to heavy showers!!
I came home and went for my 2nd walk/jog of the weekenjoyed it! I'm going to start the Couch to 5K next week I think.
I did buy a naughty pizza from the Asda pizza counter tonight for tea. My reasoning was I would have spent £15 on ticket and food for Shakespeare, so deserved a cheap (£2.50) treat instead! I also got some of the chocolates that have the free cinema ticket offer if you buy 4 packs (on offer at £1 pack).
Tonight I have applied for 3 different jobs! Whilst I love my job, the company is going through some changes that I don't approve of, so am just casting my net slightly.

Evening all! Long time no speak.
I've been sorting the house out alot in the evenings and not been on much. Living Room and Bedroom are free of clutter and looking lovely, kitchen not so bad, could do with a deep clean though. Bathrooms so small it's never an issue, so just hallways and spare room left!!
Pup is staying with ex for the forseable, he's alot happier there as he's got company all day and is in a good routine, I'll get him for weekends with any luck.. It's so sad, but best for him, so what needs to be done. I do miss the company though.
Hugs Cait x x

Almost to-morrow but Happy Birthday DG.
Cait, sorry to hear that you have been under the weather, had that op in 1999 but was lucky to get away with keyhole. Sorry to hear about your grandmother...age doesn't mean a thing really when they go, hugs to you and your family.
DS2 home for a few days, work tomorrow and Friday....arrived, ate dinner got a phone call and was gone again, nice to see him while he ate!
DS3 is 34 today, refused to be taken out for dinner, so have to come up with some other present, as he and DDIL 2 are very good to us both.
Weather rotten here, more of the same over next couple of days I gather....what joy!
Night all,
