How quickly can I close my Halifax ISA and get the money into my current account (not Halifax)?
Is it possible to go into the branch and request the account is closed and they give you a cheque straight away?

Yep I think so, that's what I did with my Halifax regular saver. Got the cheque at the counter.
Closing your isa is not a good idea unless you really need it though, you will loose the entire tax free allowance you have built up forever.Save save save!!0
