Thanks guys, any idea which to chek first or is it better to have a look at both at the same time? Some people don't exaggerate........... They just remember big!0

I would get your wheel balance checked first. It is simple, quick, and cheap to do. Just go to your local tyre place. You can then see if it works. If it has then great. If not, then you have to start looking at other things. It is pretty likely to be a slight wheel imbalance though.0

if your balancing is fine, then theres a ball joint issue/hub issue.
easy to find out if its a ball joint, jack car up, axle stand underneath, with tyre on, grab wheel at 12pm and 6pm and pull and push, if theres movement with slight knocks theres a ball joint issue.
so check wishbone, and the power steering rack ends, and inner tie rods to wich the rack ends connect to.
also camber can have an affect on vibration (the vertacle angle to wich the tyre sits on the road).0 -
change the wheels front to back and see if it still does it if it does i would start looking at lower arm bushes and ball joints all in can be really does the brake pedal pulsate under your foot when braking slightly from 60 mph ish if so you still got a prob there. Does the steering wheel /column have a slight knock in it when rocking it side to side if so check the bottom joint where it bolts to the rack is tight and the U/J is ok as well Coras have this as common problem0
