What to stick down 1 loo pan? :D:D:D Sorry!

Anyway neither CT1 nor silicone will be much good if the OP is trying to fix the thing down onto a floating vinyl sheet will it?

    Cheers

Ohh dont scoff - you might be right. :D Far stranger things have been known on this site and its not infrequent that an OP suddenly throws in some sort of wobbler that he/she hadn't bothered to mention previously that turns n pages of thread into abject nonsense.

In this case as OP doesn't seem inclined to tell us I'm minded just to give up with this thread tbh.

    Cheers

Had to go with what we could find at B&Q at 7am this morning. So we bought Evo-Stik - Serious Stuff Ultra - which (according to Evo-Stick is "The strongest waterproof adhesive you can buy"

It actually says "Fool Proof" in big letters on the tube. I raised the bog on a few match sticks first to squirt some underneath. It doesn't give a drying time on the tube but I'll wait till tomorrow anyway. I used A LOT and gave it a big seal effect because I don't want a repeat of the other night - when it shuffled forwards until it had disconnected from the soil pipe.....

    Thanks for all this advice.

Personally I'd have used a High Modulus silicone like they use for fish tanks. I use it to stick stainless channel for shower screens. As it's HM its structural but with all the benefits of silicone too.
