If the UFH was installed correctly then you shouldn't have to worry about screwing it down because the UHF won't be under the pan nor anywhere near where you want to place the screws. But its a big IF because you have no idea. If you have ceramic tiles then you can't easily find out either without digging 'em up.

Now if you have ceramics I too would go for CT1 or perhaps for silicone but you haven't said yet what the pan is currently sitting on.

Your answer will affect the advice.

CT1 rules in situations like this, it's the ultimate sealant adhesive.
Have tried lookalike claimers but this stuff rules.

You could stick Boris J to Ken L with this stuff:o
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

Silicone will be fine as long as you leave it totally undisturbed for 24hrs. If it is moved whilst curing, then it won't hold a feather.

CT1 is the beez kneez. A plumber mate gave me a tube and suggested I try it. I thought it was just another goo, but anyway I tried it to seal round a water pipe sticking out of concrete. A few weeks later I needed to shift said pipe, and boy was it stuck!
