Evening
More cleaning and tidying for me today, windows and curtains looking much better for a wash/iron. Did bit of tidying in the garden too. It had totally been let go, the weeds are over 6' tall and the lawn is actually more dandelions than grass, good excuse to leave the housework and spend a bit of time outside in the sunshine.
Managed to fit in a cuppa with a friend this morning, nice to catch up.
Still not found a few things, not much to unpack now either, may always be a mystery as to where they are!
OS done load of washing and dried outside, DW loaded and ready to go on when we have finished our drinks. Tea tonight was pasta, LO will do the kids for lunch tomorrow. Have to take my mum to hosptial appt in the morning so will be easy for them.
Not had much chance to catch up with everyones news, but am sending thoughts to all who need them.
Thanks HALIGHT for your suggestions, DH is prepared to do anything to earn some money, my mum lives in area with quite a few older people so might be a good place to start.Thoughts to all. Mrs D.

Evening all (always want to bend my knees when I say that
:) those old enough to remember Dixon of Dock Green will know what I'm talking about
:))
Boys been brilliant today and very helpful.I have been washing everything in sight that they have brought me down from their bedrooms.I keep saying 'No clothes no holidays' works a treat .My DD lives in a three storey town house and I just don't doo four flights of stairs and their legs are in far better nick than my old joints
I keep getting phone calls on my mobile from the company trying to sell me a contract but i'm not keen as I like to pay as I go then if I'm short one month i just don't use it much:)Still I give them 10/10 for effort and it must cost them a fortune to keep ringing me up
:)
Tomorrow its supposed to rain so I will be cleaning inside of DDs kitchen ,bathroom (she has two one on the ground floor) and sitting room to save her a bit of work. Not long to go now and we will be on our travels .So if you are in the east coast of Norfolk and see a tribe of kids (all boys) plus a Mum, Dad and clapped out old Granny with two dogs in tow do say Hello0 -
Thought I'd cracked it today and got here earlier but the computer had other ideas and has been on a go slow. Drives me nuts.
Hilstep: Good luck with the diet. I might have said, I am doing the Nos diet and have lost 3lb in 2 weeks. It's slow but so far I've found it very easy and I only have to keep it up to the end of 2013 and I'll be where I want to be.
Wuvvies: As far as knowing everything about losing weight is concerned, I've every intention of making it my specialist subject on Mastermind. Unlike most of you weightwatchers I have never been slim. I was a 10lb baby, the doctor announced that I already looked 3 months old and my father's comment when he got his first sight of me was, "Gracious! Look at those legs, she'll never be able to wear silk stockings." Dates me does that remark. I've been fighting nature for over 70 years now but it says something for my stubborness that I still haven't given up.
JackieO: I also have a 'pay as you go' phone. And I also had one of those keen chaps ring me up and try to sell me a contract. "I can save you money," he says. "Oh, goody," says I. "How much do your calls cost per month," he says - he's quite excited now. "Oooh, about 75p," I ventured. Click.
Spent most of today in and out of meetings. Good one this afternoon with people tackling alcohol and drug awareness. We met with coucillors, police, trading standards officers, someone from the job centre who dealt mainly with released prisoners, housing people, education people. It was only supposed to be for an hour but went on for two, and then of course there was the 'after meeting' so I was fairly exhausted when I finally got home.
Hence food was quick and easy. Bacon and scrambled egg on toast and bananas.
Tomorrow we are spending all day sewing pew cushions and I am providing lunch for everyone. Jacket potatoes with various fillings and bread and butter pudding and chocolate fudge cake with ice cream. The B&B pudding and the fudge cake are cooling in the kitchen as I type.
See you tomorrow - maybe.
