My most disappointing prize was on Twitter. A well known soup company tweeted that they would pick some people at random for some fridge magnets.
I don't usually bother with that type of prize but thought well it's only a RT...
I won 2 magnets in my initials..i was expecting something rather nice considering they are high quality but what I got were 2 pieces of magnetic cardboard. Must have cost them 2p!!!

Oh and I got a 30% voucher for a clothing store a couple of weeks ago.. Thought lovely I got eye on a maxi dress..sting in the tail was the £100 minimum spend!!
Thanks to those that post the comps!!

I won goodies from the film Hangover , they never stated what the actual prize was...........cue my son bringing through Anal beads, which fell out of the carton as they were pushed through letterbox, asking what they were.

Told him it was a broken necklace and binned them.

Having comped for many years, there have been a few disappointments along the way.

I've received show tickets which had expired before they arrived. Promoter said they would send me ones for next next event and of course they never arrived.

Tickets to see Hayley Westerna, and the show was cancelled midday before the evening performance. Again promoter said further tickets would be sent out and they did not arrive.

A tv which packed up after 3 months. Promoter kindly sent another which was a refurbished model, not a new one.

A goodie bag from Conde Naste, which was all stuff used for a promotion. The clothing was dirty and psp scratched.

Last week, a tablet which was described in the letter as Sony but was in fact some unknown make with a foreign plug.

These name just a few, but fortunately the good prizes outweigh the duff ones and I'm always pleased to receive whatever arrives.

After spending hours on the orange balloon race received a wind up charger thing that didn't work.

Without a doubt it was when I entered a competition to win a wall hanging plasma TV. I appeared to have won the runner up prize which was two brackets to hang a TV on the wall.

It was more like the booby prize.

 I won a bungee jump from a Twitter comp:eek: (Was trying for the shopping vouchers :o.) When it arrived it was printed on it that I could exchange it for another experience, but they were having none of it :(. Funnily enough, couldn't find anyone interested in it, so eventually donated it as a raffle prize, so at least someone benefitted .
:o I also won some pile cream that never arrived & I didn't feel inclined to chase up :rotfl:

Those £10 Red Letter codes were a bit pants unless you were planning on buying from the site anyhow...

:D Have also had some cracking wins, so not really whinging- just joining in, LOL :rotfl:
