Galaxy S3 upgrade deal
Just been cold called by a third party company working for t-mobile (have confirmed this with t-mobile) offering me as an upgrade the Galaxy S3 free on the full monty 24mth term for £26pm.
Can i get a better deal elsewhere? I normally have to search for ages and fight my corner to get a good deal and this seems too easy!!
Should I just go with it, it's the phone i want for the same as i'm currently paying but with bigger allowances. It seems a no-brainer, but again it just seems too easy!!

You are unlikely to find a better deal even with smaller allowances.
However, I would never agree to anything offered by a person cold calling me and would ask to get everything in writing or by a e-mail first. And if it is some 'third party' do your research. There are far too many unscrupulous crooks hanging around the main operators.0 -

just spoke to t-mobile again, the company are called scs networks they are a legitimate business as it were but decided to leave it and see what t-mobile will offer first
One of the reasons i was going to go with them was the possibility of an early upgrade, but t-mobile have pushed my upgrade date forward so i'll see what they offer.Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face - Mike Tyson0 -
I have just upgraded with tmobile as of yesterday. I had to go all round the houses to get what i wanted though! I phoned up about month early upgrade and they offered me a load of rubbish. I went through to dissconnection and again offered me rubbish. They told me they couldnt do the S3 for free on a contract price of £26 or lower. So i told them i wanted to disconnect at the end of my contract.
A week later Tmobile rung me up saying they realise i am a valued customer (been with them 12 years!) and why was i leaving. Told them there were cheaper deals elsewhere and then they hit me with a curveball...
600 mins, 1 gig data, unlimited texts, free Galaxy S3. £23 a month!!

Hello sm00ger, good to hear you finally got hold of what you wanted from T-mobile. I'm experiencing a similar situation, at the end of my £32 p/m and they want me to pay £130 for a new handset on the same plan, yes what a joke! 3Mobile offers the same handset for free and will match my plan at £30 p/m only.
I rung T-mobile once again and requested my PAC code in order to keep the same number, they said my request is valid as a 30days notice if no other network takes over my number, otherwise my contract will stay as it is on a monthly rolling basis.
What's the next step sm00ger? Do you reckon T-mobile will get in touch again? Shall I just wait or shall I take further actions?
Any advise anyone? Thank you0 -
Any suggestion anyone??
I gave 30days notice for cancellation to T-Mobile over 10days ago and still haven't heard from them.
Was sm00ger just a random lucky one or shall I expect a call from T-Mobile with a better offer?0 -
