Hi folks,
I am on AOL silver and in January I received an email from them saying my speed would be increased and I would receive an email once this has been done, not suprisingly I haven't heard anything else fron Aohell since.
Has any silver subscribers had their speed increased?

I too am on AOL silver. I was fed up with the cost of their service compared to Sky, so phoned up to request a Migration Authorisation Code to transfer provider.
They instantly offerred me the following package:
AOL Platinum, 8MG unlimited downloads
Netgear Wireless Router
AOL Talk (free evening & weekend calls)
12 Month minimum contract
Total Cost - £9.99 per month (plus one-off fee of £25 for the router).
Apparently after the 12 month minimum term I will still only pay £9.99 per month. The customer service rep stated that this package was available to anyone who has been with AOL from 2005 onwards, although even if you're a newer customer it may worth be trying for this deal.

Cheers folks, When I got the email I thought it would have been done pretty quickly.

Fair enough. Maybe I've been lucky - been with AOL for over three years and never had a problem.0 -
Looks like thats two of us. I also rang up and asked for my MAC. When asked why, I told them I have been offered a better deal by Sky. They offered me AOL Platinum for £9.99 a month and AOL Talk free for a year. Result!!!:beer:0
