It's really not a help. Additionally, I suspect not all buyers have the patience or the presence online to keep checking every so often. I do most of my uni work (including research - online resources are amazing these days, there are huge repositories of journal articles accessible by students - and today I finished the first draft of my thesis after a frustrating two weeks trying to concentrate while the Olympics were on) on the computer so I'm always checking the forums and eBay.
