    I've been Money Tipped!
    Update:

At Gatwick airport the system was superb. Speedy Boarding, followed by families with under 5's, families with under 12's, then everyone else.

Dalaman in Turkey was horrific. Speedy Boarding, followed by families with under 2's then everyone else. It was a complete bundle to get to the check-in desk. On the aircraft was awful as families with young kids were facing single seats only. We were right by check-in so were OK, but I still had to literally barge my way to the front with the kids in tow.

After what occured in Turkey we have decided that we'll either book a flight where seats can be reserved or stump up for Speedy Boarding at the "other" end.

Thanks all for the advice above.

your youngest child is 6, so technically you don't qualify for the being boarded with young children. However, you might not get asked the age of your youngest child, the staff at the boarding desk may just ask for "families travelling with young children".

If it would set your mind at rest, book speedy boarding.

Your groups boarding passes are marked under "queue" if you have any children 5 or under, think it says "SA".
