Tax Disc Online - HELP!
I've managed to mislay my original certificate of insurance and at the post office tried to produce my colour copy (I scan in all docs) but it was unacceptable (as I suspected).
Online, they do an electronic check on insurance without needing the certificate. That may well be my only option. It's my fault this is late in the month but how soon do they post the tax disc out if it's done online?

ours took about 2-3 days to be delivered. If you do it online, the fact you have paid will be registered so any check on your tax disk in the vehicle can be backed up by the DVLA computers so I wouldn't worry0

Wouldn't be so sure... have seen a van labelled DVLA on the prowl (round Bristol) lately and several cars with "UNTAXED VEHICLE" stickers plastered over their windscreens (may have been clamped as well).
But as someone said above if you've paid the tax they'll be able to see from their computer system that you have done so... and the chances are the disc will arrive in time anyway....student100 hasn't been a student since 2007...0 -

I got the disc in 2 days :T
So what happens if it doesn't arrive? They talk about phoning them if that happens, what are they going to do?! 0 -
