Orange mobile broadband & blackberry phone/playbook

I have a question please:

I have an Orange dongle with a monthly plan and I have recently bought a Blackberry Playbook.

Am I able to put the sim from the dongle into the Blackberry phone and use it for tethering to the Playbook for internet access?

I am currently using my current phone but I only have 100MB browsing and with the Dongle I have 500MB. Was trying to find out if there was a way I could use the dongle allowance instead, please. Thanks.

Is your blackberry playbook unlocked, is it android system, if you have a micro or mini usb port you can buy a mini to standard female usb cable and plug it in device and dongle in the other end

Thank for the advice. I am not sure on any of those things I am afraid. I guess it would be unlocked as I have not bought it with any contract to any phone company.

I was looking on the Orange website this afternoon after I posted as I wanted to check out the charges and I found I had to pay for tethering so I have upgraded my package and, for another 80p a month, I can now tether for free and have upgraded my data from 100MB to 750MB each month so this should be more than enough now.
