Afternoon all, Been at work today (had to leave house at 7.30) and got back about a half hour ago. Shattered, (as it was quite an intense day).
Got a HM veg curry out of the freezer this morning for dinner tonight and took a cheese sandwich with me for lunch.
May just veg out for the rest of they day with my knitting in front of the TV.
Working from home tomorrow so maybe get some shopopping and then batch cooking done as freezer is getting bare apart from orphan bits and pieces.
Humid and overcast today now I am home, but hot and sunny while I was at work.
For all those struggling I hope all your various stresses and problems are easing.
BTW anyone know when is the best night to view this meteor shower thingie?

nlj - tonight apparently according to this article. Fingers crossed for clear skies!

Sun is finally peeking out but I can't go and sit out on patio as the neighbours next door have just lit a disposable BBQ and the smoke is blowing all over my patio :( nevermind.

I forgot about the meteor shower! Thanks for reminding me, will try and have a look tonight though probably won't be able to see anything.

It's been bright and sunny all weekend here, and I've completely wasted it because I haven't so much as been out of the door once the entire time. I got all the cleaning done that needed doing yesterday then since then I've had a lovely relaxing time doing nothing much. Decided I wasn't going to do much this weekend because I can't remember the last time where there wasn't something I had to do or somewhere I was going.

I was going to make some brownies too but when I got the ingredients out the bag of sugar seemed a bit small so I decided to weigh it, and good job as there was nowhere near enough. I'll just make them another time as I wasn't going all the way to the shop just for sugar, but still a bit annoyed, I want a brownie now!
