    Use more aftershave/perfume to hide any BO. For hair you could use this? dry shampoo

    I am an ex-hotelier and it is not unusual to get requests from people who just want to shower, like yachts-people, cyclists, or campers. It may be more unusual in a city area. Call round your local hotels and find out how much it would cost just for a shower, it may cost you a tenner or similar but that is for the hot water and towels, and well worth it if you have been sponging for a week.

    I used my water butt when we were having a wet room fitted, it was okay cos it was summer time and plus the garden is well secluded, done that for 4 days:eek::D....

    You can hire portable showers. The are like the portable Turdis's only a lot more pleasant to use.

  • hehe. don't want to spend any money, I'm happy with inconvenience and a few more quid for the refurb :)

    I gave the bath that I've been using to clean paint brushes etc a good scrub and boiled 2 kettles at same time 7 times and had a decently warm bath, just took a long time :p

    all clean now n will wear shower cap when I'm digging out the channels for the electric cables, it's only really my hair that I have a problem washing without a bath or proper shower
