The expense app on my mb is really keeping me on track and making me think about what I'm spending. It's fab and really user friendly. The other thing that I've done is gone back to cash only no cards - so I can physically see what I'm spending rather than it just disappearing and adding to my overdraft.

I've also photographed 7 things to sell to put on a local social networking sales site but it wont let me alter the security settings at the mo so other people can see them as well as me ... will try again later!

  • You seen the envelope thread on here Jett? I've gone back onto it today. Taken my spends out for the month and trying to save some pennies.
    Good luck. L2B.x

No not seen the envelope thread ... will have a look through what's the thread title?

I saw the 1% one and have made up a sheet of 100 squares ... haven't signed up to it though because if I put pressure on myself I'll go pop again. Am on dr's orders not to overload!

L2B ... That resourceful cook w/site is fab!!

    NSD today too woop woop

I've realised over the last couple of weeks since getting back on board how much I've been spending money willy nilly on !!!!

Really going to give a lot of thought to money generation and what I can sell through the business to increase profits.

Changed gas and electric supplier today to fix rate :)

Checked out the Resourceful Cook which is a fab tool and really time saving as well as money saving .... thanks L2B :)

Thought of a couple of ideas that should hopefully increase business sales ... gonna get cracking on them when have got kids back to school.

Feeling a bit discouraged because I know that I haven't got enough in my account to cover the end of month bills and will get bank charges again. And am going to visit family tomorrow and can't afford the fuel but need to go because one of them's been poorly and needs us to.

Also lent my brother £20 that I didn't have, TC have dropped my payments by £37 per week and have been spending more time on social networking sites this last week than on here.

  • Jett can i make another suggestion for your tax? Well Im going to anyway, lol. The post office do a budget card that you can pay money onto. Then it can be used fir car tax and some other bills. I put £25 a month onto mine as soon as i get paid. Then when 6 months comes round i go into he post office hand over my card and they withdraw the car tax money. That way i don't miss the money and it works out a good way to budget. L2B.x
