Warm but cloudy here, off to auction to try to get son a washing machine. The estimate is very low, so let's hope I am lucky. Lunch will be a sandwich and dinner is a sausage plait. I bought some sausages a while ago and froze one lot. The ones we had were horrible! So to use up the frozen ones I am going to take them out of there skins add fresh chillis, leeks and whatever else I can think of to give them some flavour. Potatoes will be fresh from the garden so they at least should be nice!
Son's move all planned and he is blissfully unaware of all the crises that have been going on to get it sorted. Spoike to him yesterday and he indicated that he is happy and excited about the move.
Have a good day everyone, halight - the system really sucks doesn't it, try to stay positive and have a cyber hug.'Do not follow where the path may lead. Morning Hester and all,
Looks like its going to be a beautiful day here again. The washer is on and i've had a bath so i'm ready for the day ahead.
Hubby came home last night and stripped the living room of wallpaper. He'll make a start on preparing the walls a bit later on no doubt. Whatever he does, he throws himself at 100%. He's a perfectionist in everything he does but it does make him hard to live with and live up to his standards. He works better on his own too. I tried to help him and got growled at that i wasnt doing it properly so i cleared off and left him to it.:rotfl:
He needs a roll of lining paper for where the chinchilla got a bit too close to the walls and chewed the plaster off. The wall will have to be filled and lined before its papered. We need to fit in shopping too but i can do that whilst he gets the lining paper.
Right, this isnt getting the chores done my washer has just finished and i'm off to peg the washing out.
Have a super Saturday all. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Oh Halight bum to jobcentre.. Can you not get contributions based JSA? Try for help with ct and hb. Let the ctc people know too. Good luck.

Flutterby how's the head?
JackieO not long now...
Hi RR and essex-girl have a good day
Molly hope doggies OK
Lovely and sunny here. Washing is in the machine, dishwasher on and OH in the shower. LOL I made OH a cuppa in bed as he makes me one in the week.
I met OH from work yesterday and we went to Weston super Mare for a couple of hours. Lovely stroll along the front, tide was way out but you can't have everything. We saw a vintage fairground in the gardens on the front with their caravans and old lorries, rides and they even had old fashioned dodgems. Very OS as I took a bottle of water and we came home for a late tea.
Today we are going to Wells as there is a model railway exhibition boo! and a market hurray!
That's my day sorted......Tea? Could buy a curry from the lady in the market or make a mixed bean or chickpea and spinach one. We'll see.
Anyway enjoy the sunshine if you have it. Hugs and kind words to all who need them.
Gintot

Morning All
Washing on line, next lot in WM, been shopping to L!dl (they have big bars of chocolate for 17p!) and B&M for cereal bars that DD likes. Shopping all put away. It was really sunny in the town i went to but here (about 12 miles away) it is still overcast. Hope the sun comes out but also hope it's not as hot as yesterday, got overheated yesterday and felt a little poorly.
Work was ok last night, all finished by 10, even washed the car with their car wash! Had a good night's sleep too which helps. Visitors back tonight and then they leave tomorrow so hope the weather holds as I will have the bedding to do.
Meanmarie - what a lovely surprise for you, shows they appreciate and love you very much!
Halight - That's pants about the money.
EG - My DD was quite interested in the diving too!!
Hope you all have good days and enjoy the weekend. Take care. XX0 -
Good morning all,
Another worrywart here. Jasper couldn't sit down last night. It seemed as if his back leg wasn't right, although he didn't whimper when i touched it. Was awake on and off all night because i kept making sure he was alright. I had a splitting headache where i was worrying. This morning he has been running around like a race horse. Jumping, sitting, you name it. Just glad he is ok.
Molly, hope poppy dog is ok.
Lovely day here. Washing on the line. More in the wm. Need to make a veg curry for the freezer as i have some sad looking mushrooms to use up. Chicken with potatoes and salad for tea.
I hope everyone has a good day and hugs to those who need them.

Afternoon all
I had a nice walk into town to fetch my car, and it took 5mins less than Google said it would, and I walk slooooow! Popped to Morrisons on way back to get some bread rolls and cheese for lunch.
I'm sitting in the lounge, and next door's cat just walked through my open patio doors, into my kitchen and picked up one of my pink rubber gloves in it's mouth and ran out to the garden :rotfl: :rotfl:. Luckily it dropped the glove on the patio so I could rescue it. How bizarre!!
I'm not meeting my friends now so am just going to sit out on the patio with my Kindle and enjoy the sun
