Hi everybody
Been crazy at work agai, but boy does the day fly.
Math No one else seemed to realise until you admitted cheating that your geography left something to the imagination, East Midlands near Humber Bridge, give over.
I was going to post a piccy of the old North Bridge. at Donny, but haven't worked out how yet, and no time at the moment to play.
Welcome newbies, it's right, they don't bite on here I can vouch for that. Roughly what post number in the Arms so I can have a read?
Well it seems that the majority are having a 'mare of a time right now, so big big ((((((((((((((((((((((HUGS))))))))))))))))))))))) to all. Take care of yourself Mrs_Mix and all others not too well.
Going to do some more Spanish flash cards with DH, on the grounds that it might get through my thick skull, and DH may pick some up too as he can't be bothered to go to lessons.
Had a totally unOS tea tonight, went to see my Dad who has dementia on our way home, so called and got Fish & Chips afterwards for us and DS as a surprise treat. (we do share one portion of chips between 3 though. Is that MS or just tight? No they are big portions so waste otherwise). But then again I am Yorkshire!!

Good evening everyone,
I dont have any bridges or pets
But i do have wonderful children (just got back from the Passion play at the church in town):j DD was part of the crowd, and a very important part as well, i think:rolleyes: , and DS was one of the main narrators and he did wonderfully, i was so proud!!! (apart from when he put his script in his mouth, and his hand in his pocket!!! )
We are now home, and celebrating a job well done with doughnuts!!!!
moggins and scuzz - glad the dates are going well, maybe i should try and find myself a 'friend'??? (like the idea of chocolates and morning kisses)
Right, off for a browse,
Have a great evening,
Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx0 -
Nowadays you dont get much meat in the pies! I think one of the original Manzies Pie Shop is still Walthamstow?
Manze's is a fantastic pie and mash shop in Walthamstow. It's cheap and they still make the pies from scratch.
Manzi with an i is a fabulous and pricey restaurant just off Leicester square that I also love.
Your post has made me wonder if there is any connection.
I'd be feeling an urge for pie or fish now, but the fresh trout have been gutted by OH, his first time bless him. So I have fish for tea that is less than two hours from caught. Yum. Now gonna post for ideas on fish stock.Target 1: Pay off Alders by July 2007(done), Target 2: Clear overdraft by end of 2007

That's what I thought first time round, but then edited my post, because doesn't MATH have a *second home* in Lincolnshire, which is where the other end of the Humber Bridge from us is

Thank you all for your good wishes and kind thoughts, it is much appreciated.
Kyle, thank you, again much appreciated.
Well we are no further on than we were this morning.    His results haven't come back so he will have to go back to the GP tomorrow. He isn't too clever again tonight, cold and dizzy, his colour is good though and there is no pain so I am keeping a close eye on him and if he gets worse I am calling the GP out whatever he says.
I phoned work to fill them in and they have told me to stay off for the rest of the week whilst things are sorted out, they have been brilliant again. I can't believe how understanding they are being esp. as they are so short staffed and it's the second time within 3 months that I am letting them down.
I love your piccies today - we don't have a bridge either but like AMIE we
have a pier...........
The nearest bridge is in Conwy........................
Welcome to all the new posters today.
Right I'm off. Have a good night everyone and hugs to all in need of one.

Good evening all, very late posting today. Been busy all day rushing about. Started with the gym, then babysitting at 9am, to sick friend mid-day, shopping for veggies for Lunchclub tomorrow this afternoon, back and some cooking for the freezer, then dinner and now I'm shattered!! But the good news is ivyleaf is back:j :j :j
Welcome home, we're all agog to hear about NZ.
Have zoomed through the thread, ((((((hugs)))))) to all those having tough times,:Dto all those enjoying life for whatever reason (choccies eh scuzz? now that's an improvement;) )
Love all the photos. Twink and kyle your village looks beautiful. AMIE my childhood holidays were spent either in Bognor or Pagham. Loved Pagham for the crystal clear water, but those pebbles, and the dips!!!!!!! Bognor was nicer for the sand, but I have memories of more seaweed, and I have a horror of seaweed:o Haven't been to either in more years than I care to count.
Well, Life on Mars will be on soon, and I've still to wash up the dinner things (didn't eat until 8 tonight, no dishwasher) so I'll say Goodnight.
Enjoy what's left of the evening,

Sorry. But some kind person PMd me a photo of [STRIKE]the state of [/STRIKE]your kitchen floor and I decided to pay someone to do the ironing instead.:D
Seriously though I'm just a lazy so and so but I still did an hours ironing before tea so don't feel too guilty anymore.
Want to post pictures of tonight's sunset but can't remember how to do big ones and am only producing thumbnails.(sounds painful doesn't it?)
