Happy New Year to diary and lurkers.

So yesterday wasn't a NSD after all as DH got some reductions on his way home from work, 2 whole chickens, cold meat, pork pies, quiche and other stuff all for under £7, so really good, although I've had to rejig the meal plan again.

On e*ay, I've got watchers for all my items and bids on 3 of them including a bidding war on one. The item I was testing out on amazon has sold so I now need to post that.

MSE thingy today: I've blanched the last of the brussell sprouts and put them in the freezer in individual portions.

Have had a lovely day with DH who actually got the day off. We had a champagne breakfast and have just relaxed and walked the dogs. Really nice, and DH just made us up a buffet.

A really positive day today even when taking the paid stuff into account. Needless to say, I didn't win the euromillions last night.

My MSE thingy of the day: I kept the wrapping from a parcel to reuse for my e*bay sales.

Today, we had a refund from the leccy/gas which I've put towards a weekend away we have planned (and actually booked) for March. Two more meerkats are on their way to me after I queried why I only got one when I signed up for 3 lots of pet insurance earlier this year, so they will be put up for sale too. I got about £12 after charges for the last one.

I have sold one item on e*bay today so will post that tomorrow and my expenses for the paid stuff should be in my account in a few days.

I have decided to keep a record of my online sales this year.

This year really is starting on a more positive note than last year, which had a bad leg injury for sick dog (took four months to heal), a broken tooth for me, a roof repair and shed replacement after damage in high winds - all in the first week. And it didn't get much better after that!

I'm really looking forward to what this year holds.

All going ok here at Jazee's joint. All but one of my items on e*bay has a bid on, and even that one has 9 watchers. I want to list some other items but am limited to 10 a month, so I have applied for more.

Today, DH and I did a small weekly shop and I am within budget so far for this month's groceries. I may even have a NSD tomorrow!

My MSE thingy of the day today will be to use up the last of the carrots from Xmas making carrot and lentil soup.

All my items now have bids on them. Yesterday I helped DD sort her room so we now have a few more things to sell.

My MSE thingy of the day: DH and I are going to take our rubbish to the council dump instead of hiring a skip.

Hello diary. Well yesterday was not a NSD as I went to a funeral, so there were petrol costs, snack and after a tiring day, a take-away last night, but it was to be expected.

Today, the car has been serviced which came to a little more than I would have liked, but I've juggled the finances around and our meagre savings remain intact, so all good.

Pretty please, can I have a NSD tomorrow?!!

Well pretty please worked as today I have had a NSD. Yay!! Have sold my items on fleabay so have four to post tomorrow, one to be collected and paid for and two still waiting payment. Got my extra selling allowance so have now listed some more items.

Got rid of some clutter. One of the six charity bags filled by DD went out to be collected today.

Other than that, have had a busy day at the paid stuff, did some flying this morning and took the dogs for two walks. Am now on my own as DH is working through the night, and I suppose I should go and do music practise, but instead I'm on here, eating pringles and sort of watching rubbish telly. All things I was saying no to in 2013. Oh well, there's always tomorrow.

MSE thingy of the day: I walked to the post office to post fleabay parcels when I could so easily have taken the car.

My two meerkats arrived today so they're already listed along with some other items and they already have watchers.

DH has also been having a clear out of unwanted items to sell so all good.

Found out today that if my job does go (I'm hoping not, but you never know in this climate) I will get 12 months severance pay.

Morning diary. Well yesterday was another NSD!! Today won't be as DH is doing main weekly shop and I need to pop to the farm for veggies and post another couple of fleabay parcels. Think I'm about £70 up at the moment in just two weeks with some more items still to list.

MSE thingy of each day still has to be not using the car. I've had full access to it this week and have only taken it to the garage to be serviced. Every journey I've had to make, I've walked, not even cycled.

I managed to get myself talked into doing some voluntary work yesterday and wished that I hadn't, but once there I really enjoyed it. I used to do a lot of voluntary stuff but found in the end it took all my time and the family was definitely neglected. However, this is just an hour once a month, so I will be doing it again.

Right, better get dressed or I will achieve nothing today!

Just back from local post office and have £15.50 in lottery winnings. Can't be a bad start to the day. Also, picked up a guide to postage prices, finally, as I've done myself short on a couple of parcels recently.

MSE is driving me nuts this week. Always it has kept me logged in to the forums. This week, I have to keep logging in before posting anything. Why oh why?
