    those figures are possibly because its burning a little oil
    either way it will or has killed the cat
    my original post stands
    cars 14 years old and a bid of £150 is good
    scrap prices have indeed fallen

    yep its burning oil and has killed the cat...
    my fiesta readings were similar and it was burning oil. car was scrapped 8 months later as it was costing more in oil than it was in fuel (it passed its mot as that was the only thing wrong with it so tester let it slide lol )
