Could I ask why you advise this rather than getting currency changed in advance? As I would have to use a credit card for withdrawals over there, the interest charges will be rather hefty. Thanks.0 -

The interest rate will be 2% per month. Hardly hefty.
So if you withdraw £1000 and pay it off within 2 weeks, you are looking at £10.0 -
You can't get Moroccan currency outside of Morocco. You have to get it in the country. You can't get Moroccan currency outside of Morocco. You have to get it in the country. As far as I remember you are not supposed to take their currency out of the country as well.
You can get it in London - and change it back. The rates are not necessarily good.
The Moroccans do have rules about it but they are laxly enforced (for small sums anyway) if at all.0
