Halifax - appointments after death!
Comments
-
My late father banked with the Halifax and, although the initial appointment was offered quickly, subsequently they have made a complete mess of things from losing paperwork, not arranging things they could have at the bereavement appointment which has entailed more visits to local branch (30 mile round trip) and a whole host of other things.
I'm so glad I don't bank with the Halifax !!!!Thrifty Till 50 Then Spend Till the End
You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time but you can never please all of the people all of the time0 -
So they're even worse than I thought! I'm still being chased for a second copy birth certificate. Unbelievable.
this should not be needed unless its for the account itself and it was not supplied as identification at the time the account was opened
the registration for gross interest is simple0 -
Well I think the Halifax are aware there have been problems,
hence, the introduction of this customer bereavement telephone line
you are right in that thew branch send all the info off to the business centre, after registering the death on the system0
