I will list them separately - that is how I will see how much is wasted on that.. If I chock it into food budget - I will cut more on .. FOOD ;)
As long as you see how much you are paying to hinder your health it will sink in slowly. From an ex smoker. :D x

Today's spends post-early morning green supermarket shop....

    £8.27 - yellow supermarket...couldn't resist the salmon...
£2.25 - little Mr T - stupidly left the house without baby wipes -quite literally up sh*t creek
£51.21 - big Mr T - big shop done and dusted - this included a mahoosive amount of laundry juice, which will last me at least 2 months...hopefully.

Just need to pull my finger out now and find the time to cook up many a wonder and get it frozen. That would be super organised, knowing me it will all just get bagged up and chucked in the freezer ready for impromptu meals.

So that's a grand total of £79.39 for the first day of my budget. Oops.

Oh and I spent £5.41 in Costalot mmmmm Caramel Latte.

I have decided not to include drinks/eats out in my grocery budget though as they are quite rare and as such a little treat.

Funny, a few years ago my little treat would have been a JD and coke in the pub with the OH on any given night, wearing make up and having perfectly coiffed hair. Now I'm the bedraggled mother in the corner of a coffee shop trying desperately to calm her two rowdy baby girls using vanilla wafer bribery tactics. And I wouldn't change it for the world :D

Asda Man has been and brought me lots and lots of goodies, to the tune of £99.09 out of £170 so far.

Terrible news though, there is NO ROOM in my freezer at all! And there are things that still need to go in it! It's no good, we will have to eat some room into it before the dates are up on what needs to go in.

Well, i have taken a big chunk out of my GC, on a couple of online shops, but will update after they arrive, plus will be stocking up on salad stuff and groceries 2moz also.

gettingready - bold 2 in 1 is on offer in tesco 24 wash £3.59. With regards to your big spend, we all do it, well i do, but you could use this as a challenge to really scour your cupboards and be inventive. I had homemade soup today, made from Tesco value mushy peas 4p - just bung in saucepan with a cup of boiling water and oxo cube and then blitz - it was lovely
jj /stokegirl - loving the look of the cobblers
irisviolet - welcome to the grocery challenge and good luck
suzybloo - welcome, sounds like you know what you are doing
outdoorlass - sorry to hear of your loss - good luck with the challenge
xspender - there are loads of lunchbox forums on here if you google lunch box ideas mse it might give you some ideas
craigywv - i cook sausages before putting them into toad in the hole

Got to be up so early, can't believe im still up - off to bed now
