Ys..yellow stickered ie reduced food items...some good bargains to be had if you catch them at the right time
What you include in your budget is totally up to you...personally I include all food, cleaning stuff, toiletries for the 8 of us.
Thank you
In that case then I shall include pretty much everything otherwise I'll be in danger of overspending because 'it's not included so doesn't count' haha...I'm great at lying to myself!!GC Challenge Newbie!

I have a question for you all: from this month (sept 1st) we have a pre set budget of £450 per month (we are budgeting everything as an experiment/trial). I am hoping to bring my spending in under budget at least some months but I dont know what to do with the excess. I had thought I would put it into our holiday savings but now I am wondering if I should roll it over to the next month in order to build up a bit of spare 'kitty' in case of more expensive months etc. And then maybe just take the excess out for something else every few months? Does that make sense? What do you guys do?1% at a time no. 40. £8000 (For dream family holiday) 94/100

Hi de hi,
Best get some practice in before things get properly tight. Can I join in and can I be put down for £85 this month?
This is for me and Mr 'Hollow Limbs' Maitane, all groceries and non-food, from the 26th August to 28th September. We've got loads of freezer and cupboard stuff to work through this month and also, thanks to my beloved heap of junk car I am exceptionally skint!
We've already spent £16.16 yesterday in Mr S, Aldi and Mr A for additional things for this week to make ingredients into meals. Quite pleased with myself about it too. See you all on the meal planning boards!

Just back from ald! and spent £31.78. Haven't been too impressed with previous visits there but things seem to have improved and I feel like we got loads for our money; we even got a bottle of wine!! And I know it's one we like as we've had it at OH's parents and it was only £3.19. Impressed with 5 big chicken thighs for £1.99, 20m of foil 72p... I won't bore you with the details but I'm happy and the cupboards, fridge & freezer don't look so bare anymore!! :T Plus we thought carefully about everything we put in the trolley so didn't buy anything we didn't need/won't use. I'll update my sig.June 2015 Grocery Challenge [/B]£126.38/£360
