Let's see now.Chilly British Summer evening. Oh yeah, I remember. I stay indoors in the warm instead of wasting valuable energy from any source, heating the sky.
I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.

Creased Leach, thanks for informative response. Do you have a link to your firepit, or a similar firepit?

Did you open my link above, it's 360degree opening for maximum heat to all etc. We have full free supply of logs, is that what you use on your pit?

    Thanks

Ours was from homebase, on sale at about £30ish three years ago (to the day, in fact- it was a birthday pressie!) it's "copper" bottomed, has had some serious use, and the only issue it has is there's now a hole in the ash guard at the top- thanks to our 6'4, Columbian hunk of a neighbour standing on it when it was hot...

This is the closet thing I can see on sale at the mo, although I'd not expect the silver to last forever, you'd still have a functioning firepit:

The chimnea does look ok, but what you need to do is imagine your position when sitting around it, will the chimney get in the way of conversation? And obviously as heat rises, how high are the openings in relation to your sitting height?

Yes, we use logs on ours- although I'm not supposed to nick hubbys supply of "special" oak that's meant for indoors...;)

I have more friends than I have space indoors. Some of us are cursed that way. :)

Wow, what a joker. You don't like sitting outside on a Summers evening chatting with some beers and enjoy the atmosphere of a fire? I think I'll enjoy using the free logs then heating those surrounding it before heating the sky before going inside to the warmth ;)

Hi guys, bough this on Monday and can confirm it's absolutely brilliant and a great price! Took about 45mins to put together and started with a small fire and now she's roaring!

Recommend this product for a reasonable chimenea that 'services' all who surround it!
