Lloyds TSB CREDIT POLICY DECLINE!!!!!!!!!!

It's taken from a credit scoring leaflet which should have been sent to you with a letter when you're declined.0

It's not the internal risk score that counts, it's what it says on their system against credit card I believe.
Internal risk scores count for nothing apparently e.g. I was declined a credit card initially with them and my internal risk score was as good as it can get. i.e. 1A
If you're talking actual credit scores, who knows it will be a closely guarded secret how they score a application at LTSB0 -

He told me it could disappear on 17th July when the systems get updated. I previously could not upgrade my bank account or have an overdraft. I logged on my internet banking on the 17th July and I could upgrade my account all the way up to PREMIER. I applied for an overdraft via internet banking, I typed in £3000, It was accepted instantly. I wanted a loan so I applied It was instantly DECLINED. I checked my credit profile (Experian + Equifax) NO CREDIT SEARCH FROM LLOYDS. LLOYDS do not do credit searches for loans and credit cards there base the decision on your internal score or whether you have CPD. I applied for an additional account, It was accepted. My credit profile is in the excellent score, I earn £25,000 per year. No late payment etc. I have raised a formal complaint about CPD. Hopefully on the 17th August when the systems update again this CPD will disappear. I will update yous.
Do any other people face this problem???
It is so annoying!!
Also he advised me my internal score was 1 (the best you can have) but this CPD is the problem
The CPD on any further credit applications might have been triggered due to the fact that you had recently applied and been approved for a new credit product(overdraft) before you applied for the loan. I believe this is a temporary restriction though and should be re-assessed when the systems update later this month.0 -
I know with Barclays my money go in every Friday and the same day transferred straight into my lloyds account and my balance for a week is always about £2 after transfer with Barclays and I am PRE-approved for everything possible on Barclays online banking.
So with Barclays it's certantly not based on your balance or how much you take out its what you put in seems to be the winner.0 -
I have tried to get a loan and a credit card with lloyds but both have a CPD marker next to them yet they offered me a £3000 overdraft? Anyone got any idea why this would be the case? Surely if they think I am a risk they would say no to everything not just the loan and credit card? (I'm currently Risk Band 3)

That's lloyds TSB for you.
Remember this can change month to month so high balances outside of lloyds could of got you CPD on loans.
Credit card are you close to your limit by any chance or any adverse?0 -

I only have a capital one card and clear the balance every money - nothing adverse on my file anymore

There must be something on your credit file that lloyds don't like is it late/missed payments etc.
Yes you've got a cap1 card but it's the one for poor credit scorers which a secured card surely with no adverse you wouldn't of applied for this sort of card.0 -

Thats the issue I am having - I have nothing bad on my report but I can't seem to be able to get credit. On my credit report it shows my Lloyds Account which I opened in Jan/Feb, my Home Broadband Account from June and then the Capital One Card which I only just took out as I was advised that having hardly anything on my report is the thing thats causing the issue?
