Flights to Malaysia

Can anyone tell me about airline sales to Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur)? I am looking to go for my honeymoon next year (May 2013 from 5 weeks) and I am currently looking into flights. I have found some for £550 but unsure if they are likely to drop lower or be included in forthcoming air sales?
Any thoughts or advice greatly appreciated.
Many thanks.

£550 is a good price for long haul to Asia, it's unlikely to drop much but then you are also risking a rise. I'd say book it now and don't look at the prices again!

Ahhh, Malaysia, my favourite holiday destination!:)
That is an excellent price aimbay, is that for a direct flight?
As signol says , book and don't look!!!!!
I am hoping to book for April, and best price I can find is £635, and I thought that was good.

thought malaysia was awful. kl shopping ok , food good in penang street markets ... apart from that boring .
penang = poor beaches, poor sand, bad water quality and looked like spain with hi rises. dont expect drinking and fun in that country thats for sure.
5 weeks would be depressing i went to thailand after a week and had amazing time.0 -

Each to their own!
I don't think the OP wanted a personal opinion of Malaysia, just flight information.0 -
then why only comment on my post , why not others too ? or is it just good comments you deem acceptable ?
regardless, at least i offered an opinion , you offered nothing at all ....dickydonkin wrote: »Each to their own!

Its a good price...Air Asia did several for £250 return no frills...fab bargain...but have ceased from UK and France....Watch out for Lufthansa as they do cracking deals now and then for £420...usually to Singapore but also maybe KL.
Malaysia is beautiful, and Thailand too.....oh oh oh amazing Thailand
...but the whole of SE Asia is heaven....IMHO anyway.
You can also get bargains from several European cities like Madrid, Barcelona, Milan, Brussels, Rome and even Paris at times, but the no frills airlines there and the possibility of a hotel stay cancels the price out....but you do get to see one or two European cities too:)...I am sure you will love Malaysia. Enjoy your honeymoon...Just be aware you are kicking into the rainy season in some places.

Because you comments were totally irrelevant to the OP's querie and in effect offered nothing!
You did indeed portray a negative opinion on the destination, but let the OP decide if it is as dour as you make it out - she is going for her honeymoon for Gods sake and we have no idea if she intends to stay in Malaysia for five weeks anyway!0 -
