:D just tried using ours like those instant kettles by just putting the flush thing in...it worked.......so it's not just for the capsules, you can make any hot drink with them......although, not great if you like scalding hot drinks as it doesn't come out really hot, but for me it's perfect as I dont :D[/quote

Thanks for the tip, and it does apppear that the water comes out at almost immediately drinkable temperature. Just as an extra you do need to wait for green light to be solid green before pushing lever onto red to start drinks process otherwise it will be only lukewarm, sorry if this teaching people how to suck eggs, but want everyone to get a good experience with their machine.;)

The lungo and the expresso are fine made in mugs if you prefer normal coffee. I just added normal milk and they were really nice.

The kids absolutely love the hot chocolate and its great not having to boil pans of milk. They say they taste as good as the ones in the coffee shops in town. So I definately think I will be buying the capsules for these, I know they work out about 36p a cup, but they only have one a couple of times a week as a treat.

Great tip about using the cleaner thing for normal water. Will try that next time I make a cup of tea.

I just got an early invite to the Fruitabu campaign!! I missed out on the coffee machine - never got an invite - but this one is about to start. Anyone else been invited yet? Not sure what we get - probably coupons like the Activia one....
