Looking for trampoline offers..

We puchased an 8' one from JTF last year, but were concerned at how thin the safety padding over the springs was, IIRC about 15mm max.
After reading a few websites on trampolines saying padding should be as thick as possible and having seen some with 24mm padding, we took it back and haven't replaced it yet.
We may look again this year but will go for something with better padding protection.

We've been looking at how we can rearrange our (smallish) garden to get a trampoline in. Our lawn has quite a significant slope on it (enough for a ball to roll down in to the hedge) so I'm really interested in whether the legs are adjustable to compensatye for this or do I need a level surface before we even start thinking about it ??????0

Woolworths has a special at the moment on an 8ft trampoline for £99,but thats what we paid for ours last summer with no discount so i think they have increased the price before they have applied the discount! sneeky blighters! Our local b&q also has a special at the mo but cant remember the price, sorry, but think was around £80.Covers are a must for the winter because the springs can rust which then make the trampoline extremley noisy.Rather than a normal cover we bought a trampoline tent which is great and my daughter loves. It is waterproof so protects from the elements but is also fun to have,as it makes extra play space for the winter months.0

I have a problem with kids coming into my garden aswell as it's quite open. I have a 12ft with zipped enclosure and do sometimes come home and find muddy footprints on the trampoline. I have thought about putting a small combination lock on the zip, but I think I'd rather them have a sneaky bounce rather than them rip it to get in
You can't win:rolleyes:

Has anyone actually bought one of those little ones from Toys'r'us ? Between the cabin, slide and whirly in our already too small garden this is the only trampoline that would actually fit. It would only be for the little ones, they are 3 and 4. Would they both get on it at once ? Many thanks0

Hi lifesolve
We brought an 8ft with enclosure for our daughters 3rd birthday last year, and the neighbours children 2 boys (then 5 and 6) who come to play frequently - they all used to wait their turn while one person had "a jump" but it wasn't long before they were all on there together, despite my best efforts to keep it to one at a time. I would say that any smaller it would be restrictive our daughter will be 4 in June and is already doing seat drops and attempting forward drops against my better judgement.
A small one would need quite a lot of supervision to avoid bumps. Just make sure you get a net.0
