Looking for trampoline offers..

A complete novice looking for a trampoline at a good price. 8ft with all accessories. Not sure where to look really for the best place and best prices.

My kids are 4 and 3 so I need the enclosure for it so thught it best to buy a package.

Also while here - do they have to be on a flat or level surface or can they be adjusted. Can you leave them out all the time through summer and winter, sun and rain or do you have to put them away in the winter? Any help is most appreciated as we don't know anything about them.

Thanks

I seen these today in B & Q but didnt even look at the price - sorry - it may be worth phoning them though and asking. I think it was the 8ft one and they had the enclosures too. We got ours from there last year but I also remember The Big W (woolworths) had them too.

Ours is on a grassy bit out the back which is on a slight slope and its been okay but i do think the flatter the better. You can buy a raincover for it, ours has been out since last summer and its looking ok - i think they are rustproofed or something.

I bought ours from proline, on the net plus padding.

My girls are 12 & 14, so needed a heavy duty one.

Its 14ft and we got it down to £420.

It all depends what your looking for, I wanted one that would hold up to 18 stone in weight, so if the had friends staying, they could all go on it together.
I must say, its not toppled over in all the wind we have had this winter, so Im well pleased with it.

Ours too is on the lawn, not exactly level but its fine on there.
I was the same as you, I didnt know what to get, but l knew I wanted a good heavyduty one.
    I phoned this firm........ http://www.eurocosm.com/Application/Products/Super-Tramp/trampoline-tipsGB.asp

And they guided me as to what sort of thing I needed etc etc.

This is the one I bought for my kids.....

I would phone them and see what they advise.

We just bought a 8ft trampoline with encloseure from focus diy in Petersfield :j and i think they are nationwide, for £89.00 very good quaility as well, instore price is £99.00 however we used my dads over 60s discount card offering a 10% discount off any price instore on a wed,:j . We did look at woolworths which range in price from £139, too expensive. It will also fit into an average family hatchback car as well , although it was a little heavy so you might need some help, :T
    i hope this helps:A
  • We bought our son a 12ft trampoline and I certainly would recommend buying as big a surface as you can afford. I know you are going to buy safety nets (we didn't and he has never fallen off! - luck I think) but the surface on an 8 ft is just not big enough and you will regret not getting 12ft. He was 5 when it was bought and he is now 7 and uses it regularly - he was on it all over the weekend.
We have ours on the grass but we moved it onto the patio over the winter and it is still in excellent condition. We bought a raincover at the time - it helps with collecting water for the plants!

    Hope this helps

The above is the link to offers from LX Direct that came through my door the other day. There are always offer codes about if you have a look and this would work out at a great price.

    Good luck!

We bought a 14ft trampoline a couple of years ago, and I would agree with chelle66 buy as big as possible. Why just let the kids have the fun. Also your children are only going to grow bigger.

We have had four bouncing on ours at one time teenagers and an adult.

We use it as adults must be superb for fitness, my brother is a very fit Karate instructor and it had him puffing and blowing in ten minutes.

Safety is paramount, we bought a net with ours and we feel safe though always keep an eye on them.

We have found that the surrounding crash padding deterioated very quickly caused by ultra violet rays, so I would also purchase a rain cover as for this piece alone was in the region of £80 to replace, I am fighting the manufacturer at the moment for the cost.

I bought a Body Sculpt 8ft one from Makro last year, my son was 3 at the time, he loved it, there is plenty room for him and his friends to jump on it and I would definately recomend getting the safety net, my son does not see it as much as a safety aspect more along the lines of its something else to bounce off! Anyway, whichever and whenever you get one, I bet its the best money you ever spend.
