Many thanks for all the advice. I am going to go measure the space tomorrow and see if there is enough space for a 12 ft one. initially we thought 8ft because of the space as we already have a few garden things that take up a lot of room. We have the added problem that the bottom half of the garden can't really be used as the brats from next door will destroy anything we have in that part of the garden so we are limited to just a few areas we can use.

I am intrested in the Littlewoods one as that is a good price and it is delivered as well. I have looked on eBay but then we have to dismatle it and we only have a smallish car so cannot really get it home - plus as it is for the little ones I want to make sure it is new so noting is wrong with it so would prefer it new. I don't think I could forgive myself if something happened with a 2nd hand one and the kids were on it.

Thanks for all the helpful posts, I won't be buying for a few more days as I need it delivered next week ideally so I'll keep on looking for any more useful posts that are added. Thank you.

https://www.woolworths.co.uk have an 8ft trampoline for £80. Saw it last night when I was browsing the website.

you may be right with the above , however you need an enclosure for another £89.99 total £169.99.... not very cheap:eek:
the Focus diy 1 was for both trampoline and enclosure for £90, or £80 with an over 60 discount card:j

Well, juts been outside in my jamies in the dark with a torch as curiosity got the better of me and the max space wise is 8ft, it means re-arranging the garden though as the kids will play on it while I am inside and I need to be able to see them - plus I am sure the little s**ts from next door will get over the fence to play on it - any ideas on how I can secure it other than a rigged up shotgun as last year they were over playing on the swings and stuff when we were out. Idiots left a trail of Pokemon cards! They come over the fence. Any ideas??

Back to the trampoline though, there is the DIA one if we can get one and can get it in the car so will have a look at that. Also have seen the Littlewoods one - £117 and the Amazon one for £129 but that comes with weather cover and fixing pack so does seem like the better option I guess.

I am stunned at the prices of some of the trampolines around - do people really pay £600 for it. I would say £150 is the right amount to pay really plus space is limited for us as they already have the TP climbing frame and the treble swing which takes up loads of room so it looks like we have to re-arrange the garden before we get it!!

    Thanks again x

Barbed wire, broken glass and superglue? Seriously though, I can't believe how bad they sound. The parents obviously don't discipline them at all or they wouldn't be doing that. They sound absolutely awful neighbours from hell...

A bigger fence, razor wire, a word with the parents, complain to the council or maybe get a threatening letter sent to them from your solicitor.

You want to be careful because if they hurt themselves on your property then you are liable, mad I know.

ive bought one from lxdirect ,had it about a week ,its the 8ft one and the size is fine for my two kids 3 and 11 plus me at times lol, think i used a 10% code and 10 pounds off plus bnpl feb 08! so im well pleased,i dont mind paying a little extra when you can spread the cost, also worth noting the enclosure door on my friends v expensive 14ft one is a zipped door, which broke very quickly, the one i have is closed by straps that just click together, much more sensible in my eyes
 " i wanna be the minority! "

How about a nice trellis and a few roses and or climbing roses or better still blackberries they are virtually indestructable and can get them for free from the hedge rows. Nice and prickly as long as your children keep away.
Do thing the natural way nobody can complain, and once stung twice shy.

Hi all, thanks for your replies - if it was only this easy. They are little ******* choose your owns words really. The mother is not there half the time - I have called the police before when they have been lighting fires amongst the TREES in the high of last summer. They came out and found a 7 year old babysitting a 5 year old! The police did diddly squat really and called me later to say that the mother had been spoken to and would not do it again and as I was on the phone she pulled up in her car (having just got back from somewhere) and got out without the kids so they had already been left. Sadly you can't seem to do a lot - I thought the Social Services would have got involved - especially when 7 year old told police that he did not know where mother was (cleaning somewhere apparently!). What else can you do.

They have already ripped half our fencing down - that is our fencing on our side! The mother does not care, nor apologise let alone offer to fix it. We will sit looking out the litchen window while they are sitting on top of the shed in our garden laughing at us. At the top half of the garden there are conifers but it means if we had it there I would not be able to look out the window to check on the kids when they are playing due to the dark mesh on it.

I had to admit, I think it a very sad world we live in when we have neighbours like this and they have ruined this area which used to be lovely - they are the most destructive kids ever, at Xmas we like to light up the house. i don't go out much or buy loads of nice things and Xmas is when I treat myself and the kids by putting my vast array of lights out and this year we came back from shopping to find they had been pelted with tangerines which were over the decorations and windows. They write things like sl*g across the bonnet of my car. Oh yes, and this is because I had th audacity to have a go at them for harassing my 80 year old neighbours over the road (and yes, I would still do it again becasue they deserve to be treated better), since then it has been downhill. But this is why we have to try and hide what we have - they don't get nice garden things like this and so come over and abuse ours when we are not in. Police even told me when they went in ther house that there was broken glass around the paddling pool. To this day it has astounded me why they did not get onto Social Services or the Housing People.
