UKCPS unfair parking notice

Hi I received parking ticket at around 9pm Sunday from UKCPS, I only parked there for 10 minutes to pick up a friend but when I came back, a parking ticket stuck to my windscreen this is really unfair as I only parked there for 10 minutes and I already appealed to them but it was denied and now the charge gone up from £60 to £100, letter says you must not ignore this notice but in their photograph evidence of my car their UKCPS car parked on a double yellow lines on the road whilst taking photograph on my car, you can see it clearly on the photograph that the UKCPS car parked behind my car. Can anyone give me an advice...because letter says failing to comply with this notice means we may take court action to recover all charges..please help

The reason the UKCPS car was parked on a double yellow line was this: on private land double yellow lines have as much significance as a flying pig painted on the road.
And for the same reason you should file their letter in your loo, and wipe your backside with it the next time you have need of paper.Je suis Charlie.0 -
With UKCPS there is a very small chance that they will take you to court, out of the tens of thousands of fake PCNs they issued last year they went 25 times to court. The general advice is to ignore them completely and their agents providing its not a hire car.
Also as Peter Haswell their office manager lurks here looking for people like you, please don't respond to anyone offering help via PM unless they have over 300 posts. Also its suggested you remove the time and date of your ticket as they can deduce who you are and what advice you are getting.
Please come back for further advice if you need too.Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?0 -
Thank you guys, I think the UKCPS car is not hired because there's marked UKCPS and a Telephone no.0

What? How does that matter?!
It is a scam. Ignore it. THIS IS NOT A FINE.
NOTHING WILL HAPPEN, no CCJ, nothing! It's not a real PCN.
The letters the registered keeper will now receive are no biggie, just file them. They really are like phishing emails and you can see right through them when you know it's all hot air. As long as YOUR car isn't a company or hire car then it's easy for the registered keeper to ignore the letters now they (you?) know it's all a well-known con trick.
Oh and watch the Watchdog clip linked on a top sticky thread 'PPC letters & threats' which is currently 2nd from the top of the forum list, only one click away - see my signature for where to click in the little blue 'breadcrumb>trail>link>' at the top of this page.
The same thread also has preview pictures of each letter so you can just play snap with them rather than actually read their debt collector baloney. UKCPS almost never bother with a Small Claim and when they do they lose. In the once in a blue moon case of a poster here getting real Court Papers they would know the difference and can get a defence to help them to win. So no worries at all.
It's not difficult to play 'snap' with some junk mail you can predict! Enjoy the Summer. You can just tick off each matching letter against our thread.
Finally, UKCPS staff haunt this forum so do not reply to any private message offering help. It could be Peter Haswell of UKCPS phishing for information from you. You do not need any help to ignore a scam!
HTHPRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Taffy was saying about your car being hired. Some car hire firms will pay parking tickets on the driver's behalf and then add an administration charge for themselves. The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.

Hi. This is similar to what happened to me months ago. I got a UKCPS so called "parking ticket" for "leaving the site" of a small car park in front of a row of shops. I found this forum and followed the advice on here. I received the letters as described in other threads, and completely ignored them, no phone calls, appeals or anything. It was nerve wracking and difficult as some of the letters mentioned things like "CCJs" and "baliffs" and I was worried they would persue me to court. However, as mentioned in a previous thread I have now not had anything from them for a number of months and am confident they have gone away.
Follow the advice on here, don't tell them who was driving the car, don't phone them, and don't try to appeal. Just IGNORE.0 -
Hi everyone I don't know whether this is a brilliant idea because the UKCPS they stand on without valid permit holder or private land what if we put up a signage in all corners of our car saying, This is a private property any unauthorised person taking photograph on my car or taking my car registration without my permission or authority or used the information under their company name you are breaching the contractual agreement and you are liable to pay £2000 and at reduced price to £1000 if paid within 14 days.according to information act and private property damages.0

Unfortunately not its not illegal to take appropriate pictures in a public area! Also a cars registration number does not belong to you, it belongs to the secretary of state!
Easier to let em do whatever then ignore them.0
