Hi,
I currently have a pay monthly phone. I pay £19.99 per month on Vodafone and get 120 x-net anytime mins and 250 texts which is more than enough for me. My contract is now up and I was considering keeping my existing phone and going PAYG.
I was wondering if there are anygood PAYG sims which offer a good tariff but cheaper than £19.99 per month?
Thaks very much for your help.
P.S. Would I still be able to transfer my exsisting number to PAYG?

Virgin Pay as you go and Tesco are regarding as the cheapset, with O2 and Orange if you Top up £10 each month you get 300 free texts, If you have Virgin T.V you can get a sim that costs you £10 each month and with that it gives you 300 x network mins and 300 texts each month free.0

I am not totally sure about transfering a contract number to pay as you go I know you can transfer a pay as you go number to a contract. You may have to ask the provider who you choose to go with or somebody on here may have a bit more knowledge than me on the matter0

i've been with O2 for 4 years contract & just transferred my number to tesco pay as you with no problems...& if you top up £15 or more per month your calls are 10p & txt 5p to anywhere..if you stay on £10 per month top ups calls are 20p txt 10p although they still have a nominate 3 favorite numbers scheme in place all calls 10p & txt 5p to these...i'm more than happy so far with themWe all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will0

yes its possible to move contract number to PAYG. Ask current provider for PAC, get PAYG sim and then ring them. will take 5 working days
As far as deals go, those mentioned above are good. Depends on exact needs. e.g do you need the 300 odd free texts on orange/o2? will you top-up by £10 each month and use it on calls?
Also t-mobile 12p x-net calls, 10p texts or on text tarriff 3p calls. top-up £10/month and get 3000 evening/weekend texts0
