New boiler - old one is "kettling"

Try adding some Sentinel X200. This is 'boiler silencer' and is not aggressive in the way it works.
Kettling is hundreds of very small scale deposits formed on the inside of the heat exchanger.
The water boils on each of these small deposits and causes the noise.
Powerflush will be a waste of time and the noise will come back in about 12-18 months.
Unless the burner pressure was set way too high, a service would not help this type of fault.0 -
I added some chemical specifically sold to reduce the noise from noisy boilers to my system recently and it certainly improved things. Its still not silent but I can sleep through it now. I would try that as an easy first step.0

I reckon there could be numerous reasons why you boiler is kettling.
In my previous house the boiler kettled because the pump was old and knackered and could not pump the water fast enough through the heat exchanger. This was fairly obvious, because the pump made loud rumbling noises when it ran. I replaced the pump myself, for less than £100.0
