trying to remove this trojan from a computer at a homeless project. The staff are pretty clueless and haven't got an anti virus programs installed, only malwarebytes which the virus won't let me run. I'm no expert, just following online instructions, but they all need an anti virus. what can I do? luckily no one has actually activated thee programme/virus properly.
also, I don't have access to a clean machine, only my phone.

Are you following these instructions?. If not, you should be.

Hi, thanks for the replies

I had to leave shortly after posting unfortunately. I tried booting in safe mode, but they couldn't find the administrator's password to let me get in. I'm away til the 29th as well so they'll either have to pay someone (unlikely coz there's not a lot of spare money as you can imagine) or wait until i'm back. In which case i'll come and find this thread and try again.
And i'll make sure they install Avast or something afterwards!
Thanks again

Perhaps you can print up the instructions in my post and send them to them. At least they can have a go at following the instructions.0 -
Malware bytes does indeed Fix this issue - just follow the instructions. However, you will need the admin password to do anything useful, so homeless or not, they need to get that sorted out first.0
