Orange mobile internet on laptop?

Hi, probably a daft question but......... I have a Blackberry on Orange with unlimited internet, at home I have Talk Talk broadband, I work in my chalet office at home and cant get the Talk Talk broadband out there so have been borrowing a dongle from a friend to use, I then remembered that years ago I had a friend who could link his mobile phone to his laptop and use the mobile internet on his laptop, ca I do this with my Blackberry and Sony Vaio laptop?
If not which would be the best and cheapest way to get broadband to my chalet? One friend recommends a range extender, another says they are useless! But dongles etc seem expensive and tie you in to a contract.
Any help gratefully received!

If you have electricity in your chalet, did you consider powerline ethernet adaptors ('homeplug') available for £25+?[/QUOTE]
What is one of these, where do I get one and how do they work please.

Ive just looked these up and they look great! Do I need a pair one to go by my wireless router and another where I want my laptop? Also does it have to be connected to the wireless router in any way via plugs/wires etc? Thanks JMember 1145 Sealed Pot Challenge No4

One is connected to the router (it doesn't have to be wireless to work with these adaptors). All others are connected to computers.
