and if so to who? parking eye? the church? debt collectors?
does it matter that if I do I'm doing so quite late?
thanks
Look just ignore. you really are not listening.
They cant and wont do anything.
It's Like banging your head against a brick wall
Even if you send a token payment all that will happen is that Parking spy or the Debt collector will contact you and say you have not paid enough
SO PLEASE LISTEN TO THIS:
IGNORE ALL THE LETTERS, NOTHING WILL HAPPEN, IT IS NOT A FINE, ITS AN INVOICE
PARKING EYE WONT DO ANYTHING AND THE WORLD WONT ENDFor everthing else there's mastercard.
For clampers there's Barclaycard.0 -

I do understand that this must be very worrying. You are, for all intents and purposes, being blackmailed.
Option 1. Pay the balance of the parking charge (£6 - £5 = £1) to the church. This meets your legal and moral obligations. They might call off the PPC, they might not. If they do, good. If they don't, ignore PE/Roxburghe/Graham White.
Option 2. Pay the £177 to Roxburghe. Hope that they don't find your payment until after the deadline and still come back for more. The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.

I assume from the letters Holy Trinity Church are the land owners, grrr can't believe a institute that should be about peace and honesty would hire Parking Eye.
I find it quite amusing this letter tells me to ignore 'anecdotal information being presented via the internet and on various websites'.
In fairness you've admitted not paying the requested parking fee. You're hardly in a position to take the moral high ground regarding "peace and honesty".
I'm afraid it's one thing to fight the PPCs acting for a commercial landowner but it's quite another to deprive a charitable organisation of funding that it is entitled to.
In your posts you appear uneasy about the advice to simply ignore. An alternative would be for you to offer to pay the outstanding amount (£1 according to your post) directly to the church next time you're there (in full and final settlement and without admission of liability) as that's all you owe.
Perhaps you'd feel better about ignoring the Roxburghe clowns once you know you owe the church nothing and there is consequently no cause of action for court proceedings (not that one really existed in the first place).0 -
ok i'll send the £1 (maybe more £5 for like compensation coz sending a quid may look rude?) to the church.
i got a missed call today from Roxburghe, called back to find out who it was which is when I found out who it was. Hung up telling the guy I was very busy (which I actually was). How did they get my number?!?! wow...0 -
Compensation for what? I just hope you're never mugged and ask for their address so you can send them some more when you get home. I've done all I can. I shall not visit this thread again. I wonder why I bother. The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.

Not sure whether this is in jest or you've missed a post, but the OP is considering paying the portion of the parking fee that they say they didn't pay in the first place. Agreed no compensation is due but this is a matter for the OP given that it's a charitable organisation.
They're not paying Roxburghe/Parking Eye at all which has to be a good thing. The OP feels better about ignoring the letters, the church gets the £1 owed and the PPC gets nothing. This is what bazster suggested in their earlier post.sorry mate, i appreciate the help, didn't mean to annoy you.

Don't think so - I imagine they'll be grateful and appreciative that you bothered to come back for the sake of £1. If you speak to someone I'd definitely mention the nasty tactics of the parking company and the resulting impression you had of the church. May make them think...
