    You are lucky to have a copy of the will - who gave you that?
    Has it been changed since?

    The answer is here:-
    ....I got a copy of the will from the probate office as probate has been approved..

    OP - sorry to hear of your bereavement and your mother's situation

    If your mother were to need care before the estate was settled, I think she would be able to gain credit on the basis that she is due to inherit, sort of like a bridging loan

    It is important that your mother has written her own will and keeps it up to date now, sadly
    You never know how far-reaching something good, that you may do or say today, may affect the lives of others tomorrow
