It is *usually* 1 photo ID and if you don't have a photo ID then 2 or 3 paper Id's, so if you have a passport/DL I'd expect only 1 paper ID - but give them a ring to check - I am sure they can help if it is needed or offer a suggestion.
And yes sweetie, you are stressing out and it's ages away, you NEED to eat and look after yourself or you are going to make yourself ill.
Put the letter away and try to forget about it.
It isn't under caution - they are not investigating and you have done nothing wrong.
Easier said than done, but you do need to put this out of your mind.0 -

do you know what caused the compliance team to want to see them in the first place? Surely the DWP doesn't come knocking because they're desperate to give claimants more money LOL;)
they randomly check a number of claims each year as do housing benefit people, sometimes they ask you to go to them sometimes they come to you sometimes they might just ask for bank statements(ive just had that)
it is NOTHING to worry about0 -

Do you think this might be a bit of an overreaction or is it normal to be this stressed about things. I must have looked at the letter about 50 or more times since receiving it yesterday morning. Only now have I noticed it appears to be asking me to bring a passport or driving license AND one utility bill, one rent agreement and one bank statement. I don't have a rent agreement because I am on a Periodical Tenancy. The only bank statements I have are online. Or could they mean they just need one document from that list anyway?
Ok - nobody is saying it. No it bloody well isn't normal to react like this! I get why you are doing it but ... calm down! Provide what you can, explain what you haven't got and let them sort out what you need. They aren't accusing you of fraud - these are jut hoops. Inconvenient yes, but just do some jumping...0 -

Yes. It is an overreaction. Stop it and have a slice of toast - please!
They don't want you dead - they just want to do an audit - a random audit. So stop panicking will you!If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.0 -
I'm treading on tippy toes (not a fan of educational emails)hence my previous less brunt response but yes
It's OTT - chill out, eat, relax and ask questions you need to help you over the next month till the appt.
But eat - and look after yourself in the meantime0 -

If I was able to react and behave normally I wouldn't be on ESA or under the care of the Psychiatrist in the first place. That's why I'm on anti-psychotics, having all kinds of therapy etc. Unfortunately it all only works to an extent. If anything stressful happens I often end up being hospitalised again for a bit.0 -
Sweetheart - don't stress!
Do you have anyone you can take with you.
Your health (phyisical and mental) is more important - you need to eat and you are over reacting.0 -

Well the good news is that I've now eaten something. I think this thing with the DWP sheds light on the general state of my life. It's not OK to live like this, in a constant state of agitation and extreme anxiety. I see my Psych next Tuesday and I'm going to talk to him about trying to carve some kind of future out for myself. What kind of sh*t life is this sitting at home because I'm too terrified to venture outside most days, worrying myself sick over everything big or small, barely able to get by financially, no savings whatsoever, no realistic possibility of having a relationship. I've got to change things! God knows how but I will find a way. Being unable to leave the flat regularly doesn't mean I can't have some kind of career. I'm still a relatively young woman and I am determined to get myself out of this miserable existence.
There are people without legs who manage to compete in the Olympics! So I'm sure I can manage to improve my life. I even have all my limbs;)0 -

You sound like me... I think I'd react similarly... you and me might be well suited..lol.
But try not to worry... it'll probably just be routine... easier said than done I know. Regarding documentation that'll be no doubt to demonstrate you are who you say you are and where you live. Sounds like they've suggested standard documents... passport/driving licence to prove name and also a document to prove address. Utility bill dated within 3 months might be sufficient for latter... there will be alternatives I'm sure they could advise on if necessary."Do not attribute to conspiracy what can adequately be explained by incompetence" - rogerblack0
