I got my shed from a local shed manufacturer a few years ago. It cost me £375 for a 10'x8' shed delivered and erected. At the time Homebase wanted £500 for an inferior shed of the same size and I'd have had to transport and erect it myself.
An added advantage was that I made a local company slightly richer, instead of some anonymous shareholders. It's always worth ringing a few local companies for a price.
If anybody in Fife needs a shed mine came from http://www.anchorwoodworking.co.uk/0 -
I realise the original poster must be sorted by now, however for future reference, for anybody needing shed recommendations, I got my shed from NO FRILLS, very recently, it is a discount DIY store. Mine was wooden, treated, 8x6, tongue and groove with a sturdy tongue and groove floor. With a lock and key., roll of felt, three perspex windows, all the fittings. It cost me £199 plus £10 delivery. And I paid some really consciencious overseas students to make a cement base, put it all together, and paint it with more preserve, (different colour,) they could have done it as a project to be marked on their skills via their college study, but I wanted to pay them as they sent some of the money to their families. (Plus they sampled my large sunday dinners and deserts,) so this way, everybody benefitted, and I made new and very trustworthy friends, infact its worth checking with your local college if there are students who can undertake some types of basic DIY work, either as an assignment on which they would be marked, or for cash. I have also had fabulous pine book cupboards made in this way to my own design for £100. The student won an award for them, so again, happy all round!1

B & Q have their 6 x 4 shed back in at £95, which is okay if you have some way of getting it home but if you have to add on £20 for delivery too it's not so much of a bargain.QUOTE]
Don't buy this shed! I bought this overlap one from B & Q and it fell down in a gust of wind! Afterwards I did a bit of research and decided on a more sturdy tongue and groove one. The one I bought wasn't the cheapest available but still pretty good- I got it from walton garden buildings for £164 with free delivery! I'm very impressed with the quality.1 -

Damn, I wish they were in Wales - they look excellent. Great sheds, fantastic materials, delivered and built at a good price. I'll have to check the local ads around here (Wales) and hope there's something half as good.1
