Who exactly has been at your door? When you mean "High Court", court appointed bailiffs? Normal bailiffs? or Debt collector??

Are you BR already and what was the debt for?

I gather you are already BR, you should speak to the OR and refer any creditors or anyone acting on their behalf to the OR.

If anyone calls you have no obligation to let them in or speak to them... even if they claim to have a warrant, claim to be from the high court or whatever.

Beware, unscrupulous DCA's (That's most of them) will tell all manner of lies to attempt to collect debts regardless of any legal right. Don't talk to them just refer their demands to the OR.

Mynumber is not yet BR - just in the planning stage

Mynumber had the OR phone interview on Thursday or Friday last week, I assumed was BR because in my experience the OR only gets involved after a BR order has been made.

Oh ok, I was making assumptions based on their comments in this thread where on 4th August mynumber said "when I go bankrupt" which implied they had yet to do so. I'd not seen any of their posts about having been BR or any OR interview so apologies.

Yes, just read all 19 Mynumber posts and its clear they are not yet BR, couldn't see anything about an OR interview.

I think we need more info about the 'high court' visitor before any advice can be given. Hopefully they will have left written evidence to go by which he will find when he returns home.

If they are High Court Bailiffs then they have exactly the same powers as County Court Bailiffs - that is peaceful entry with permission.

Keep the doors and windows locked and don't let them in.

hi, sorry about`the garbled message i was at a friends when the guy arrived at my house, i am in the process of filling the forms out, was hoping to wait till 20th before i took them to court ( saving for the fee ). The company that the guy is from is Marstons group, the letter he left says he came with removal contractors, but as i wasnt in he will give me the oppertunity to ring with a payment, if not the writ will be enforced,
