The first sign of squabbling I threatened to cut the lead off the ps2 - after the first squabble I took a phoney plug and cut the lead in two. Left them open jawed for the day - as I took the other plug away too and it couldn't be used.

    Never argued after that!

    :)

Love it :T:T . I might just do that ;)

I've done that cut the plug off the telly a few times untill i realised that we were running out of cable so resorted to the mains switch under the stairs, that worked.

lol at you nearly running out of cable. I would turn the electricity but it would also mean that I could not do any work as i need my pc :undecided

Well so far today I have

Fed the kids both breakfast and lunch

Put on 2 loads of washing and hung one outside ( although that might be a bit optimistic weatherwise)

    Done 2 hrs work.

Now i need to do some washing up and then get back to work. Will take the dog out when DH gets in from work.

    Have a good afternoon everyone

  • Hi 40SM,

Well done on the debts you have paid today.

I have spent money on a sandwhich at lunchtime:o it was only a Tesco's meal deal lol

Listening to you all talk about the kids driving you mad takes me back, my lot are mostly grown up apart from the 16yr old who pops in and out for his meals:cool: it is lovely and peaceful ...

BUT you will miss them one day honest... (ducks behind the sofa) :D

    Evening all ;)

Glad you have paid some more money to your debts 40sm, there is a thread somewhere called "A payment a day" I tell you there is a mine of information on here.

Well Budgie has made a roast lamb dinner, (Organic don't ya know) ;) Dad managed to eat all of his which was good, I tried to make it full of flavour and it seemed to do the trick. I was in that kitchen for hours, and I have also done washing etc and some decluttering.

How did I find time to go to work all day I just do not know. Still I think that you just skim over things when you don't have the time, Budgie is getting into those nooks and crannies. :D

Oh and yes I agree you will miss the boys when they are older, look at me and my Ds, how I miss him so. But he is doing well and is happy so thats ok, I just wish he could meet his "special one"..........................

My Ds is at the womens olympic volleyball final tonight, he was allocated 2 tickets at £195 each and he paid for his friends too, thats what I like that he is generous and not selfish, not that I would have a selfish child you understand but I did make sure that he did share etc as being an only one when he was growing up.

Budgie did sleep better too, I think I have just been stressed and anxious.

So what is everyone else doing tonight?

Tis Emmerdale for Budgie and then some more olympics. :)

    Big hugs
    Budgie xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  • Morning all,

BUdgetbabe, don't even get me started on kids and partners that is a whole new minefield, so far I have two boys fairly settled, don't think my daughter will ever settle down.

Well off to be weighed and then to the charity shops so hope you all have a positive day.

Joined Swagbucks and discovered www.hotukdeals.com and trawled the net for vouchers, ooh also put Vouchercloud on my phone. Worth checking out

    Catch you later Crystal x
  • Good luck with the weigh in Crystal;)
