I have just given DS2 a tuna & cheese toastie so he is quiet whilst he's eating:) The other 2 are having pizza which is cooking in the oven now. So peace may be restored for 5 mins. Lokking forward to going to work for an hour.0 -

I think he thought he was on to a dead cert
Finding bits of tennis ball all over the house which the dog has decided he now wants to chew instead of play with ! I have certainly got my work cut out looking after this lot.
The towels don't seem to be drying in the tumble ... must check the filter.

Now just waiting for DH to come home so that I can quickly nip to the office . It means I will be in a bit of a rush later as it is an hours round trip, I will need to spend about an hour there, I need then to come home and make spag bol and feed it the gang and get the boys to football by six:eek:
May just manage it if DH walks through the door now

Hope you got everything sorted?
Well just back from Dads they have let him out this afternoon but he looks very poorly still and says he feels very weak. He has an appointment on Thursday with his consultant to see re: his chemo etc.
One thing though I will have to remember to do is log off, I keep forgetting, I can be logged on here for a week at a time.
Have a good evening, Budgie didn't sleep very well last night and I now have a rash, not sure if its stress related?
Take care
Budgie xxxxxCherish the ones you love and travel back on the road that brings you home

Hi Budgie
Well I somehow did managed to get it sorted:T Glad to hear your dad was allowed home . But you also need to take care of you. The rash is probably stress related , the same thing happened to me just after mum died.
I really hope you sleep better tonight as you will need all your energy to look after your dad.
Sweet dreams

Morning everyone,
Well kids all up and have had breakfast . All fighting again... no change there then:mad:
Debtwise I have paid the following today:
£30 HMRC
£20 credit cards.
Houseworkwise:
Load is in washing machine.
The plan for today is to quickly jump in the shower then do a few hrs work before lunch. Then take the boys and dog to the park , followed by another few hrs work .
Not sure what we are eating today so need to get my thinking cap on:think:
I really need to think about getting the bits of school uniforms that I need to buy before they go back instead of leaving it until the last minute as usual.
Have a lovely day everyone

Good luck with the plan for today.
Re kids and games - we had the 'piggy timer' a kitchen timer which the kids used for 5-15 minute chunks then they had to swap - worked for us and we still use it now for studying or wifi access.
Then again -I'm a tyrant.
The first sign of squabbling I threatened to cut the lead off the ps2 - after the first squabble I took a phoney plug and cut the lead in two. Left them open jawed for the day - as I took the other plug away too and it couldn't be used.
Never argued after that!
If they buy into the timer idea - what am I saying - if you decide to impose a timer idea - they'll soon learn. Sometimes lessons need to be learnt.
Mind you - I've been known to switch off the electricity too - so maybe don't listen to me!Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
Total debt as of 28/4/19 £7867.38:eek:
minus 112.06 = £7755.32:money:
:money:Sleeves up folks.:money:0 -

I've done that cut the plug off the telly a few times untill i realised that we were running out of cable so resorted to the mains switch under the stairs, that worked.:money:0
