It depends how well off you are. If you describe £30 as "measly" i guess you are better off than a lot of people on here.
As I said earlier, it's about how you value your time. Let's assume the OP has spent 2-4 hours on getting this resolve all in all. That means he values his spare time at being £7.50 and £15.00 an hour. My spare time is worth considerably more than that.0
